QUT Health Services provide medical and emergency care for students and staff of the University. Doctors and nurses are available on both Kelvin Grove and Gardens Point campuses.
Services
- General practice medicine - doctors seen by appointment (students are bulk-billed)
- Specialist consultant - Psychologists. Referral required.
- Advice and health care from nurses - nurses can be seen on a drop-in basis. Clients seen in order of arrival exept in emergencies
- Particular emphasis on sexual health and contraception advice; travel health and vaccinations; and drug and alcohol advice
- Minor surgical procedures, respiratory tests.
- General health promotion and illness prevention activities for staff and student
- Physiotherapy
- Massage for Pain and Stress Relief
